Giardini di Borgo69 is positioned perfectly as an extension to established village life, creating 12 stylish 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages, all with extensive views over the Tuscan countryside towards the spires and rooftops of the village of Pozzo. The Borgo69 project will incorporate the remains of two existing 300 year old cottages to form a stunning new build, allowing designer owner Philip to structure the layout of the site and its individual elements to fit the vision perfectly. The design references the historic features of the surrounding Tuscan architecture, in the form of loggias and courtyards but also gives these features a striking modern twist. This, in combination with the use of traditional materials and methods of construction, will give Borgo69 its totally unique look.
Interiors at Borgo69 are styled to evoke traditional Tuscan elegance with a modern twist. Local construction methods, such as half timbered ceilings, local artisan ironwork and carpentry have been mixed with state of the art lighting, media technology and heating systems. The end result is chic, calm and comfortable, your contemporary “home away from home”.
Pool & Garden
The 12 cottages have either a private garden, planted with indigenous plants and herbs, (some benefiting also from a plunge pool allowing for complete luxury), or a large terrace. Each cottage has been positioned to benefit from the stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. Sitting in the Borgo’s olive grove is the 20 x 4 meter infinity swimming pool, perfectly positioned for relaxing, whilst the organic market garden provides for an authentic “farm to table” experience, where owners can pick produce and have it cooked for them in the restaurant, promoting sustainability and healthy lifestyle.
